BARRY passed away peacefully on Thursday September 4th, 2008 at Gardenview Nursing Home at Merrylands at the age of 76 years. He was late of Fairfield.
BARRY Leaven Briggs was born on January 11th, 1932 at Lane Cove to George and Beatrice (nee Keating) Briggs. BARRY married the love of his life (his "Gem") Jennette at Parramatta. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Nicole and Danielle.
BARRY was a very devoted husband to Jennette and a much loved father and father in law to Nicole, Danielle and Joshua. A dear brother to Robert and Noel (deceased), BARRY will be very sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

Dear Jennette, Nicole and Danielle,
Thinking of you all, knowing how hard it is to lose such a great love of your life and knowing that time dosn't ease the pain, that time only allows you to get used to having them in a different place in your life, may your journeys to tomorrow be made easier knowing others are thinking of you. Peter, Tahla and myself are thinking about you all in your time of loss and after. Living in Melbourne has made it hard for me to be with you all on Wednesday physically but I will be with you all in heart and soul. I know dad will be helping Barry, just like they helped each other during their time together here together.
